CCAR New Haven

New Haven Recovery Community Center

Our Recovery Community Centers support all pathways of recovery. We welcome people seeking help and support from the disease of addiction as well as family, friends, allies, or anyone who wants to be educated about addiction and the possibilities of recovery.

CCAR New Haven believes in the resiliency of the human spirit, and we believe the services our center provides can restore hope, rebuild positive connections, and reaffirm the necessity of community support.

Together we change. Together we grow. Together- We Do Recover.

All services are free of charge. Hours, contact information, and a digital calendar of virtual support meetings we offer via Zoom are all provided below.

Black History Month is to honor the contributions, accomplishments, and struggles of Black individuals throughout history. There have been numerous Black recovery leaders throughout history who have made great strides in their communities, which have contributed to where the recovery movement is today. We thank and celebrate that Black influence that has and will continue to support and improve addiction recovery awareness and services. To learn more about just a few of these individuals, check out this article: https://landmarkrecovery.com/11-influential-black-americans-whose-work-shed-light-on-addiction/?fbclid=IwAR3GgZr0S5JTX0L3m9uPSnb_PCo6x0Cs6xc3eM0A1y2wWy2mzbWy3KJUXuw #blackhistorymonth

Today we celebrated 20 years of Windham Recovery Community Center 🙌🧡 Thank you to all who joined us in celebrating this momentous occasion and supporting our local recovery community for over 20 years! We greatly appreciate our guest speakers Congressman Joe Courtney, State Representative Susan Johnson, Nancy Navarretta of Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, Erin McBride Representative of Senator Chris Murphy, and especially Windham Mayor Thomas DeVivo for declaring 2/20 as "CCAR Day" in the town of Windham. Here's to 20 more years in Recovery Town 👏✨
