Virtual Support Meetings

Virtual Support Meetings

All Recovery Meetings are discussion groups based on universal recovery topics. They are open to anyone who is challenged by addiction, affected by someone else’s addiction and to supporters of recovery in general. All Recovery Meetings embrace all pathways of recovery and we end in positive affirmations.

Telephone Recovery Support

Telephone Recovery Support (TRS) is an innovative, peer-to-peer support service. Trained volunteers that are, in many cases, in recovery themselves, make weekly calls to “check in” and see how people are doing. Recoverees are offered support, encouragement and information about resources that may help them maintain their recovery.

Recovery Community Centers

RCC's are "recovery-oriented sanctuaries" located in the heart of the community. They provide a space for people seeking recovery or that are looking to enhance their recovery. Centers offer recovery support services including All Recovery meetings, vocational assistance, volunteer opportunities, family and community education, social events and more.

Young People and Family Services

CCAR’s Young People and Family (YPF) Services are rooted in our Recovery Community Centers (RCC). We provide support for Young People and Families affected by substance use by offering peer-led, recovery support meetings either in-person, at our RCC’s or virtually on Zoom. YPF Services participants have a chance to engage in advocacy efforts locally and statewide and participate in developing support networks within the established RCC’s through personal meetings, presentations, and other promotional/networking activities.
