CCAR’s Recovery Fest is our FREE family-friendly Festival featuring music, entertainment, stage contests, games, food, arts & crafts, face painting, exhibitor booths & MORE!
To take advantage of and be guaranteed Free admission to CCAR’s Recovery Festival and the discounted All Day Ride Pass group rate be sure you PRESENT your Recovery Fest ticket TO BOTH the Parking Lot attendant AND to the CCAR staff member working the registration table near the entrance to The FIELDSIDE PAVILLION
At the CCAR registration table you will exchange your ticket with CCAR staff and be marked with a re-entry stamp to secure your admission. At the CCAR registration table you’ll also have the opportunity to purchase the discounted VIP All Day Ride Pass wrist bands for just $10 per person if you’d like to enjoy the rides.

Aug 2nd to the Aug 13th submission deadline CCAR will solicit video submissions via our Facebook and Instagram MESSENGER platforms.
After the entry submission deadline, a committee of CCAR staff, volunteers, and selected individuals from the recovery community will review all of the entries and narrow them down to the TOP 7 finalists who will be notified on or before Aug 17th using the same Messenger profile they submitted with as well as the email address provided on or before
Once notified, finalist will have 24-hours to accept and confirm their spot. If a finalist does not respond, or formally declines, their spot another artist or performer will be notified and the process repeats until all 7 spots have been filled.
On August 20th, the finalist names will be announced on the CCAR RECOVERY FEST webpage. The videos provided will be loaded up on to the CCAR YouTube page, and released to the public for viewing. The public will be asked to LIKE, share, and engage with the video they like the most. These metrics will be used as a deciding factor if a tie should take place the day of the event.
The top 7 finalists will bring all necessary performance enhancing props and/or equipment to Quassy Amusement Park (Middlebury, CT) September 18th. Sound check will be provided from 8am-10am. Each act will be given a 20-minute set time. Upon completion of all 7 acts, all of the performers will be brought up on stage. The Grand Prize Winner will be determined through audience applause. In the event of an audible tie, the winner with the MOST VIEWS via the CCAR Recovery Fest/Recoverees Got Talent YouTube Playlist wins.
This contest is open to CT residents in recovery ages 13 and older. Written parental consent is required for submissions of acts under 18 years of age. Void where prohibited. CCAR Staff, its Board Members and their families. Contestants must have Facebook or Instagram, or permission to use another account in order to enter.

One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded in the amount of $1,000. A check will be made out to the main contact who submitted the original entry. It will be up to that person to handle distribution of the prize winnings. Immediately following the event, the winner will be asked to fill out a W-9 for taxation purposes. The prize winner can choose to either pick up the check at the CCAR administrative offices located at 75 Charter Oak Avenue Hartford, CT Building 1-305 Monday-Friday 9a-4p, or it can be mailed via USPS, both require completion of the W-9 prior to release.
